Emotional Intelligence Training
(2 full days)

You can have all the technical skills in the world, but if you can't manage your own emotions or understand the emotions of the people around you, your effectiveness at work will always have a ceiling.

Emotional intelligence is what allows people to stay calm under pressure, handle difficult relationships with maturity, motivate themselves through setbacks and bring out the best in the people they work with.

This two-day program is one of the most personally impactful workshops I deliver. Participants often describe it as a turning point - not just in their professional life, but in how they understand themselves.

Course Overview

The program covers the four core pillars of emotional intelligence: self-awareness, self-management, social awareness and relationship management. Participants explore how emotions influence decisions, behaviours and working relationships, and learn practical techniques to manage all of the above more effectively.

This is a hands-on, reflective program. Participants will be challenged to look honestly at themselves - which takes courage, but delivers real growth.

What Participants Will Be Able to Do

  • Explain what emotional intelligence is and why it matters at work

  • Develop greater self-awareness - understanding their emotions, triggers and patterns

  • Apply practical techniques to manage emotions under pressure

  • Practise empathy and build stronger, more effective working relationships

  • Motivate themselves through challenges and setbacks

  • Challenge negative thought patterns and replace them with more productive ones

  • Manage conflict and difficult conversations with greater maturity and composure

Who Should Attend

This program is valuable for anyone who works with people - which is almost everyone. It is particularly impactful for:

  • Managers and team leaders who set the emotional tone for their teams

  • Professionals who work in high-pressure or client-facing environments

  • Individuals who struggle with conflict, stress or difficult workplace relationships

  • Anyone who wants to lead more effectively and connect more genuinely with others

How the Session Is Run

This workshop uses self-discovery exercises, group exploration, facilitator-led discussions, practical activities and best-practice theory. It is intentionally reflective in nature - participants are encouraged to think deeply, not just take notes.

The environment is supportive and non-judgmental. Growth happens when people feel safe enough to be honest, and that's the kind of space this program creates.

Delivered in person at your chosen venue in Brunei or across Southeast Asia.
