In November 2024, Doris ran a 2-day workshop for our staff titled "Building Long-Term Customer Relationships and Increasing Lifetime Value." "Before attending the session, I lacked confidence and was unsure whether my CV was strong enough to attract an employer's attention. I had limited knowledge about creating a professional CV, writing a cover letter, preparing for interviews, and choosing appropriate interview attire. I had very little knowledge about cover letters. I did not know the proper format or the actual purpose of writing a cover letter. I also believed that a cover letter was not that important and thought that my CV alone would be enough when applying for jobs. Although I had attended a few job interviews before, I often felt unprepared and unsure of how to introduce myself effectively and present myself in a way that would leave a positive impression on employers.
I appreciated how Ms. Doris explained everything step by step and in great detail. The guidance was clear, practical, and easy to understand. Most participant feedback is collected anonymously through end-of-session evaluation forms which is standard practice in corporate training. This allows participants to share honest, candid responses without any pressure.
Named testimonials are shared with the full knowledge and permission of the individuals and organisations involved.
